The grapes grow in selected vineyards of high winemaking quality. These vineyards are irrigated by looding system with melting waters from the Andes. Stony soils, with good drainage and poor in organic matter. The vineyards are approximately at 950 meters above sea level. It´s an area with excellent temperature range – hot days and cool nights-/ and high sun exposure. Unique characteristics from this wine region.
Manual harvest. Fermenting and post-fermenting maceration. During this last process, we make daily pump-overs to keep the contact of the solid and liquid matter, and thus extract the greatest amount of tannins and aromas. This process lasts, approximately 15 days with controlled temperatures that oscillate 28 ºC Natural malolactic fermentation. Subtle wood step, preserving the varietal typicity.
Intense and full purple red. In the nose we can appreciate red fruits, such as blackberry and plum embraced by soft vanilla notes. It opens up in the middle of the palate with elegant red fruit, balanced and integrated tannins in perfect harmony with the acidity and alcohol.
